It's beautiful.....wow!!!!....it might be pretty unprofessional to write down my feelings in a K-log but i like a personal touch to my work....it was love at first sight for an electronics engineer....to hold in hands not one but a whole quadrant of PSoCs....each with increasing capabilities and wow! so cute.....!!!!..I forgot all about the exams that i had the next day.....but i had to wait.................
....the next day I installed the required software.....PSoC Express, programmer and other paraphernalia.I hooked up the mini-programmer to the 3209 and toggled the "device power" and the whole thing came to life....cap-sense,LED and all.It was like a teaser to one of those movies ...one that u can't wait to see.i worked out the first demo, the decaying LED one....the Express made the whole thing look so easy.....i tried a few variations...using priority encoder and setPointRegion.Express did the whole work for me...made it look very easy but i need to dig deeper....find out how it is exactly done....try to achieve it with Designer to get a deeper idea of how to make it work...but presently i plan to complete all seven demos in Express itself. And i need to find out how to give an external analog/digital input to CY3209.(.....just to remind myself at a later date.....how to hook it to another kit...in cascade..if required) .I have collected related application notes from cypress .....many of them were thankfully available in our Direct Client Share....we are simultaneously trying to get a clearer idea of the bio-sensor....prakash has already located some useful ones....we have located two juniors who is working on Glucose sensors for their bio project lab....
..among other news...it was anounced in our "Analog Electronics" class that all 10 of our lab experiments would be carried out on PSoC as part of the curriculum.....It is definitely a first in many aspects for sure!...and we count ourselves very lucky.
.....so long then.....
